Strategic advisory on climate and nature finance.

Climate and nature finance often begin with compelling narratives: large financing gaps, major economic value at risk, growing demand for resilience, and ambitious calls to mobilize capital.

Turning those narratives into workable strategies and financial instruments and mechanisms requires a more practical lens.

I help institutions make sense of complex climate and nature finance questions – clarifying what problem is being solved, who pays, who benefits, what risks are being reduced or transferred, and what mechanisms can realistically support implementation.

What I do

DIAGNOSE: Clarify the real problem

DESIGN: Build practical pathways

Clarify whether the challenge is a funding gap, cash-flow problem, missing payer, risk-transfer need, weak incentive, policy barrier, or measurement challenge.

Develop financing pathways, program concepts, instruments and mechanisms, and institutional strategies that can move from idea to implementation.

REVIEW: Test structures and narratives

EXPLAIN: Make complexity usable

Turn complex climate, nature, and risk finance issues into clear, decision-useful analysis for boards, funders, executives, technical teams, and broader audiences.

Assess whether current or proposed instruments, transactions, and strategies are supported by clear logic, credible evidence, realistic incentives, and workable implementation pathways.
